What’s Getting In Your Way?
If you have lost your sales spark, set aside a quiet hour in the next day or two and ask yourself the following question: What are your obstacles to selling with passion?
· Most of the entrepreneurs I work with have gotten so bogged down in daily tasks and email that they are actually spending only 10% of their time selling. This means they are making very little money, so they end up thinking they aren’t very good at selling and they give up. You need to schedule time every day to focus on sales.
· Are you using sales materials you are proud of? Do they tell a good story? Do they catch people’s attention? If not, fix them.
· Do you think you don’t have strong sales skills? If fear or a poor understanding of how to sell effectively is holding you back, get yourself educated. If you can’t afford a course, go to the library and get a book on sales to read. Or do a google search – there are thousands of free online resources on selling that you can tap into.
Figure out what the obstacle is – then take action to fix it and watch your sales soar!
