Doom and Gloom or….?

“Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear.”

~ Ambrose Redmoon

Today a client asked me how they are supposed to not give in to all the doom and gloom about the economy.  And I gave them the quote above.  The truth is, that times are tougher right now. But the truth is also that there is still money to be made in this economy.  We are not all moving back into caves and hunting our own dinner.  Even in the depths of the Great Depression, 75 million people still had jobs and people continued to buy homes, food, clothes and other stuff.

Making a sale is definitely tougher now, but I am also seeing a lot of companies getting very creative and thriving.  So decide for yourself – do you want to be paralyzed by fear?  Or do you want to focus on taking action and looking for opportunity?
