Give a Captivating Presentation

I recently attended a webinar focusing on the ways to give an  effective presentation.  As a university student sitting through hours  of lectures weekly, I agreed with much of what the presenter insisted upon.  A great presentation relies on the speaker having excellent presentation skills and having something interesting to say.

Speakers need to engage the audience with the use voice dynamics and by linking the presentation together with a story.  Varying your pitch and  volume of voice keep audience members from becoming bored.

And there is no better way to make a memorable presentation and to keep audience attention than through the use of a story to link together all aspects and  points of the message.

The final key to giving a great presentation is to put yourself in the audience and really look at your presentation – is it interesting enough that you would sit through it?
